Butler starred at Washington as an inside linebacker and collected 91 tackles with three forced fumbles, two interceptions and a sack as a senior last year. He earned second-team Pac-10 honors and was selected 79th overall.
Thomas, a 6-foot-4, 335-pound defensive tackle out of North Carolina, tallied 23 tackles and blocked a kick while earning a nod to the Senior Bowl in 2009.
