Cody passes Ravens' conditioning test

07/28/2010 - Westminster, MD (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Baltimore Ravens rookie defensive tackle Terrence Cody passed the team's conditioning test on Wednesday morning and will be cleared to begin practicing.

Cody was unable to complete the team's running drill in the permitted time frame on Tuesday.

"I think it's a credit to him. It shows that he was in shape," said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. "He's a little heavy right now. He's got to lose a little weight, but that will happen in training camp. The fact that he's in shape is important. That's the bottom line. It shows you he's come to work."

Cody, the 57th overall pick in April's draft, agreed to a three-year contract on Monday. The former Alabama star was a two-time All-American and helped the Crimson Tide to the national championship last season.
