Wilson cruises to victory at Watkins Glen

07/05/2009 - Watkins Glen, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Justin Wilson put on a dominating performance and easily held off Ryan Briscoe and Scott Dixon in the closing laps to win Sunday's Camping World GP at The Glen at Watkins Glen International.

Wilson led 49 of 60 laps and sprinted to a 4.9 second margin of victory after a late-race restart for his second career IndyCar win. His first victory came during his rookie season last year at Belle Isle Park in Detroit.

He also gave Dale Coyne Racing its first win in open wheel competition.

Briscoe finished second, while Dixon came in third. Helio Castroneves and Marco Andretti rounded out the top-five.

Dixon grabbed the lead in the championship standings with a 19-point advantage over Briscoe and Dario Franchitti.
